Games Den: The Return

Hi All,

It has been a long time coming but the Lockdown is finally starting to ease and although a long way from normality we have started to open the shop again as carefully and safely as possible. Socially distanced gaming has resumed with a maximum of 4 players in the shop at the moment.

Store opening times: Saturday 10am - 4pm for browsing and PRE-BOOKED gaming

For those stopping by you may notice there have been a few changes around the shop. For now though we want to talk about one of the most important ones which is a change to our gaming stock. During the Lockdown we have carried out a review of what we have for sale across all of our different ranges.

Our roleplaying games selection was limited to the starter books and very few of the additional source materials. So over the next few weeks we will be increasing this range to help people dive into the world of D&D and gain some inspiration for future campaigns. This includes a pre-order for the new Mythic Odysseys of Theros source book. https://games-den.co.uk/collections/pre-orders

The board games available for sale had not changed much over time and was in need of a major refresh. As such if you pop into the store today, we have removed some of the older games from the shelves and are in the process of updating our offerings. As part of this we want you to decide what you want to see on our shelves. We have opened up some pre-orders for games coming out in the not too distant future.

Since we opened in 2016 we have had pretty much the same layout throughout the store. In the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic this layout will need to change quite dynamically in order to make socially distancing easier in the store. In addition to this we will be redecorating throughout leading up to a full re-opening when we can safely hold it.

So for now we hope to see everyone soon and we will keep you updated with whats going on in the store. Similarly if you keep an eye on this website we will be publishing blog posts semi-reguarly!
